He has a doctorate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kanpur. He worked at various important positions like, Head, Dean, student welfare, etc at G.B. Pant University. He served BITS Pilani for 10 years & G.B Pant University for 28 years. He had been associated with AKGEC Ghaziabad as HOD Mech. Engg, Dean student welfare & vice principal during 2001-2004. He rose to the position of Director R K G I T also.         

He has to his credit the publication of two books on thermodynamics & Heat transfer. He had published & presented 35 research papers in various national & international conferences. He guided many students for their master’s degree & doctorate degrees. He has 43 years of teaching & research exposure.

          His active participation lead to the development of excellent laboratories & academic environment at the institutes. Currently he is holding the post of Director Academics, as well. Besides, he is the chairman of library committee.

The department of Mechanical Engineering at RKGIT is one of the best among N C R engineering colleges. The department has modern fully equipped state of the art experimental set ups. It has a team of highly qualified capable, matured and dedicated faculty members. An excellent digital library with ASME/IEEE on line journals & DELNET facilities is in service. Advanced computer laboratories with latest software’s are also available. India needs to emerge as a knowledge power nation. We intend to carve a name in the top echelons of the academic & professional world. Our objective is not to merely produce professionals capable to serve their own needs but conscious to serve the society with great concern for human values.

Let me tell you that Mechanical Engineering Branch is evergreen branch besides; industries from other fields do require a large number of mechanical engineers. So there is unlimited scope for employment to secure a bright future to the candidates.
